The "Hong Kong-Shandong Week 2013" is the fifth consecutive important economic and trade event held in Hong Kong by Shandong. The theme of this Hong Kong-Shandong Week is: Focusing on the cooperation of service industry between Shandong and Hong Kong, boosting the development of urbanization in Shandong, aiming at further promoting the exchange and cooperation with Hong Kong in the field of service industry and urbanization, giving full play to the advantages of both sides and expanding the development space.
Over the past few days, the Shandong delegation held a high-level round table on economic and trade cooperation between Shandong and Hong Kong, an exchange meeting between Shandong and Hong Kong foreign chambers of commerce and multinational enterprises, a seminar on "going global" cooperation between Shandong and Hong Kong, a seminar on the promotion of public service platform projects between Shandong and Hong Kong, a seminar on international financing for SMEs in Shandong, a seminar on cooperation in logistics industry between Shandong and Hong Kong, a seminar on brand building and international promotion between Shandong and Hong Kong, and other special events.
This year's Hong Kong-Shandong Week was a great success, with 272 contracted projects signed. The contracted foreign investment amounted to US$22.37 billion, covering modern service industry, strategic emerging industries, modern manufacturing industry, infrastructure, modern agriculture and many other fields.
Hong Kong Wing Shing Lee Group, located in Shandong Taian High-tech Zone
On 27 May 2013, You Dawson, President of Hong Kong Yongchengli Group, signed a contract with the relevant leaders of Tai'an City for a project in Shandong Tai'an High-tech Zone, which will generate several hundred million RMB in annual tax and solve the employment of more than 2,000 people after completion. After the project is completed, it will not only greatly meet the various needs of the citizens of the High-tech Zone and even the people of Taian City for leisure, entertainment, catering, shopping, office and residence, but will also strongly promote the development of the tertiary industry in the High-tech Zone.
The project is located in Taian High-tech Development Zone, east of the Beijing-Shanghai Railway, north of the Beijing-Shanghai Expressway, west of the Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Railway, south of the Beijing-Fuzhou High-speed Highway, 104 National Highway through the district, the location and transportation conditions are unique. The project covers an area of 148 mu, with a total construction area of 350,000 square meters, planning to build a large shopping plaza, star hotel, SOHO, high-rise residential as one of the urban complex. The project is divided into two parts, the commercial part along Longtan Road and the middle and high-end residential area on the inner side.
